Why am I finding it difficult to find customers. I don't know. At-least within an organization you have internal customers, people within the company support you. Here all you need is external customers, with very less support. I have the infrastructure ready to face such customers, then I am not sure why they aren't approaching me. Cypress Semiconductors showed me the way to wonders. Had I worked for an Indian company, my paycheck would have been lot lesser and I would have settled for a lower kind of life style. But these guys put me up the rack worth 75K for my first job (thanks to Dimitris P), and for the first time I understood that the value of the products that I design is worth millions and not just thousands. This prompted me to setup my own company, though I don't have any clients at this point and I don't want to be another Wipro or Sasken providing services and licking the asses of the giants, I am working hard towards establishing my company. Hope it works wonders in a short while.

What if the entire company goes wrong, such companies shouldn't exist morally. They might on paper and website but they would find their days getting doomed looming larger and larger. Cypress for instance is a company that has its vision wrong, if your vision is just to make money out of anything, I would take a stick and beat them to death. That's the scenario the company is facing right now, its time for competitive companies to capitalize on that and put such people to death. Intel for instance is a company that shows more of its authoritative power, all they have is a dozen inventors, and without much in their kitty, they should keep their mouth shut. Poor AMD is suffering as a result of this.

Never rely on CAD tools for synthesis, it totally absorbs your knowledge of the best logic resources available at your disposal and gives an approximate solution. Instead focus on developing your own solution based on the constraints that you have for your design. One such example is a CRC block, it has several variations to it. One that is time constrained would go for a fast CRC, that computes the coefficients in parallel. I have implemented one such scheme in the past.

I have been looking at some freelancing work and coding contests for some time now. There are a lot of cafes where open ended problems are posted and require rigorous solving. These require a different level of expertise. Here is one sample problem.

There is a city where people are fond of visiting restaurants. In fact, any building in this town is either a house or a restaurant. There are N buildings in the city and they are conveniently numerated by integer numbers from 1 to N. To move from some building to others there are M two-way roads. Each road connects two buildings. It is possible that there are several roads that connect the same pair of buildings, but there won't be a road that connects a building to itself. Chef wants to make the ways to his restaurants more interesting. To do that he is going to decorate some roads. Each road has its own integer cost of decorating. Some costs may be negative. If the cost is negative Chef will get some reward for decorating this road. Now Chef doesn't have much money so he wants to decorate roads in such a way that from each house, at least one restaurant is reachable using only decorated roads. The total cost of decorated roads should be minimal. So, your task is to help him to calculate the minimal cost of any satisfactory subset. It might be negative if Chef's rewards for decorating some roads are greater than his spent money.
Input

There first line of input contains an integer T - the number of test cases.
Then T test cases follow. For each test case there will be integers N and M - the number of buildings and the number of roads.
Then a string of N letter follows. I-th symbol of this string is "R" if the corresponding building is a restaurant and "H" if it is a house.
Then there are M lines. Each line consists of three integers - Xi Yi Zi. They describe a road that connects buildings Xi and Yi with the cost of decorating equal to Zi.
Output

For each test case output the minimal cost of any satisfactory subset of roads.

I am a geek but I am not making money out of technology at the moment. I am working on some of these but still haven't made any inroads so far. There used to be a time when I used to talk about math and engineering problems all along without even considering my friend's choices. I know only technology, hence I can talk in only one language. I used to use more of the technical jargons than English when I conversed with my fellow Australians, Americans and Italians. For the first time in my life I am challenged by a few of my co-workers, colleagues and bosses that I am no good technically and cannot solve problems at the highest level. This is a real shame to me, as this has been my source of strength all along and a real test to my confidence. I am working on developing a product and the time line for this is about 2 years, if not a product at-least better services technically will fulfill me. I am working on getting myself technically equipped to meet the challenges. I was good at learning things until my education ended, actually to be precise, it should be never ending right. Education is a continuous process and it goes on for ever, who ever is maximally educated reaps the benefits to the hilt. In industry more money is involved but you don't get the satisfaction required. So industry basically spoiled me from being an expert in the field to a novice. I am struggling both financially and academically and still wonder why I came out of the academia. There I was more focused, energetic and always eager to learn new things. Research was a way of life in academic and I tended to appreciate it a lot better than ever before.

I was reading an article about what has transpired in Aamir/Madhavan's life ever since 3 Idiots became a hit. Now they are looking for something even bigger. After 3 Idiots, approximately 40 offers has hit the door of the actor but none of them interests him. Either the scripts are dumb or some reason or the other, the fear factor holds them back as they want something better. Flintoff, the English cricketer who has retired from Test cricket, was looking around to do free lance roles. As he rightly said, anything that excites is what he is really looking for. The world gets bigger and bigger but being at the top requires apart from dedication solid consistency as there is no one to look forward to.

It's real wonder that you meet your soulmate. For some it takes time to find it and for some it happens rather quickly. I met my soulmate Nicole when I was in CA, literally it was love at first sight at Borders. But then I moved on, and now I am wondering what she is upto. I hope she comes to me someday, or I figure out a way to find her.

When do you actually enjoy a race, be it a sport or life. Convention says when you are secure, safe, you may seek comfort in being part of the crowd, but that's not when you are really in the race. Its either when you at the top, running ahead or running late and at the bottom. You go through nerve wracking moments, that always says this is it, how much of it can I take further. Believe it, you really got to be in such situations or circumstances for you to enjoy it. As long as you enjoy the journey, trust me you will definitely come through it be it whereever you are positioned.
